1.3.2 Global Wealth Distribution by Region

1. 基本的に，かつては，北アメリカ地域を除き，世界のどの地域においてもボトムカテゴリー（＜USD 10,000）に属する人口シェアが最も大きかった．しかし，2022年には，中国とヨーロッパでは，サードカテゴリー（＞USD 10,000 to 100,000）に属する人口シェアが最大となった．なお，世界全体では，ボトムカテゴリーに属する人口シェアは減少傾向にある．(参照：記事No. 1.3.1.)
2. 基本的に，北アメリカ地域とヨーロッパ地域では，トップカテゴリー（＞USD 1 million）とセカンドカテゴリー（＞USD 100,000 to 1 million）に属する人口シェアが他地域に比べて大きい．かつ，北アメリカ地域とヨーロッパ地域では，当該両カテゴリーの人口シェアが増加傾向にある．

3. 中国とインドでは資産分布状況の上方シフトが目覚ましい．当該両地域の人口水準を同時に考慮す ると(参照：記事No. 1.1.2.)，当該両地域への富の配分が伸展している状況がうかがえる．

1. Overall, in the past, with the exception of North America, the share of the population in the bottom category (<USD 10,000) was the largest in every region of the world. However, in 2022, the share of the population in the third category (>USD 10,000 to 100,000) became the largest in China and Europe. Globally, the share of the population in the bottom category is on a downward trend. (See Article No. 1.3.1.)
2. Overall, North America and Europe have a larger share of the population in the top two categories (＞USD 1 million;＞USD 100,000 to 1 million) than other regions. Furthermore, this share has been increasing in these regions.

3. In China and India, the upward shift in wealth distribution has been significant. When considering the population levels of these two regions simultaneously (see Article No. 1.1.2), it is evident that the allocation of wealth to these regions is expanding.
