私は，常日頃，管見とは存じますが，日本社会においては民主的かつ効率的意思決定に必須である“社会経済構造（社会メカニズム）に関する定量的基本情報”が広く行き渡っていないのではないか？と思っております．
そこで，経済学分野の研究者の端くれである私でも少しは社会のお役に立てないものかと思案し，このたび，全くの微力ではありますが，自分自身の過去から現在までの15年以上に亘る「データを用いた世界と日本の社会経済の全体像に関する解説活動」の内容を，Website を通じて，広く世の中に伝えようと思い立ちました．
本ウェブサイトでお伝えする情報の多くは，私が公開講座等で説明している内容が基になっております．勿論，私の理解不足，能力不足から不十分な解説になっている面が多々見受けられると思います．しかし，私の説明は，全てその説明の元データ（Source）を示しながら行っておりますので，私の説明に「納得できるか！ガッデムー！」と思われた読者の方々はご自身でもその Source にあたられ，様々な角度から，社会経済の構造についてご自身でもご考察いただければ幸甚に存じます．また，私自身も自分が提供した情報に不完全な点や間違いを見つけた場合は，適宜，修正をかけていく所存です．
それでは，肩の力を抜いて，「こんなデータもあるんやなぁ～」という感じで，気軽に本ウェブサイトを眺めていただければ幸いです．私も含めてみんなで日本のこと世界のことを勉強していきましょう．オーっ！

Sorry for the abruptness.
I have long believed – though I recognize my perspective is limited – that in Japanese society, the fundamental quantitative information about the socioeconomic structure (social mechanisms), which is essential for democratic and efficient decision-making, is not widely disseminated.
As a humble researcher in the field of economics, I began to wonder if I could contribute something to society. Thus, though my efforts are truly modest, I have decided to share the content of my past 15+ years of “data-driven explanatory activities on the overall picture of the global and Japanese socio-economic landscape” with the wider world through this website.
Much of the information shared on this website is based on content I present in public lectures and seminars. Of course, due to my own limitations in understanding and ability, you will likely find many areas where the explanations are insufficient. However, since all my explanations are presented alongside their source data, I would be most grateful if readers who find themselves thinking, “These explanations are utterly unacceptable! Good grief!” would refer to the source themselves and consider the structure of the socio-economic system from various viewpoints. Furthermore, I will make corrections as appropriate whenever I find any inaccuracies or errors in the information I have provided.
Well then, I hope you’ll relax, take it easy, and casually browse this website with a “Oh, so there’s data like this too …” kind of feeling. Let’s all study Japan and the world together, including me. Ooh!
