- 現在世界で，GDPの水準において，アメリカと競合関係にある国は中国のみである．
- 日本は，GDPの水準において，長い間アメリカに次いで世界２位の地位を維持してきた．しかし，2010年に中国に，2023年にドイツに抜かれ，日本の現在の地位は世界4位となった．さらに，予測では，2026年にインドにも抜かれる見込みである．
- Currently, China is the only country in the world that rivals the United States in terms of GDP level.
- In terms of GDP level, Japan has long held the position of the world’s second-largest economy, following the United States.
